The Letter Writer (subtitrat) (christian movie)

I wached this movie.  It's has beautiful quotes. Watch it, I am sure you'll love it.

"There's a balance in all things. If you give, you will receive. If you give a lot, you'll be rich. It's magical! You see, life is like a mirror, if someone steals or is dishonest, they'll invite people into their lives who also steal and are dishonest. The good thing is you can choose who and what enters your life. Within every human being there is a God given ability that if you find it and nurture it you'll be able to bless the lives of others." From the movie, the letter writer.

Your Potential, Your Privileges - "A blessing in disguise".

I recently watched this video by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf (LDS).  I have heard this story before so watching the video of it prompted me to write what this story did to my life from the very first time I heard it.

Like this guy on the cruise ship, many at times we miss out blessings mainly because we focus on our problems and misfortune that come along our way.  Since the very first time I heard the story, one of the idioms that has resonated with me is "A blessing in disguise".  The idiom helps me to look beyond my problems and focus on the good that would come out of the problem I would be encountering.  I look for something positive that the problem would turn to a good fortune.

This guy on the cruise ship focused on his problem and missed his privileges.  Like what President dieter F. Uchtdorf states, "Everything on board the cruise ship, the food, and entertainment, all activities had been included in the price of the ticket".  Yet the guy focused on his situation and missed it all.  I would urge us all, the next time you have a challenge, focus on the good that can come out of it.  Let your situation be a blessing in disguise.  Quit complaining about the situation and focus and try to recognize what good can come out of it.

Have  a positive attitude to help you be able to deal with your circumstances, avoid friends whose mission is to pity party your situation with sympathy and bringing negative energy to you.  Stop giving your family and friends the power to make you feel inferior about your circumstances and instead be in control and recognize that the only way to be able to manage the situation is to eliminate all uncertainty from all directions.  Assess your downside to reflect on your situation to bring ultimate positive results.

Having the right mindset in your situation will help you come out stronger and your will to come out shinning will be strengthened.  You will be able to emerge from your situation with gratitude and your outcome will be "a blessing in disguise"

February Real Estate Housing Market Report

February 13, 2014 – The REAL Trends Housing Market Report for January 2014 shows that the rate of housing sales increased at the slowest rate in the last 30 months on a year over year basis. Sales of new and existing homes in January 2014 increased 1.1 percent over the rate of sales in January 2013. The annual rate of new and existing home sales for January 2014 was 6.043 million units up slightly from 5.976 million units sold in January 2013.

The average price of homes sold increased by 13.3 percent in January 2014 compared to January 2013 on the strongest showings in the last year.

Housing unit sales for January 2014 increased 4.8 percent in the Northeast, the strongest showing in the country. The next highest region was in the South region with an increase of 4.1 percent, the Midwest region was down 1.3 percent and the West was down 3.7 percent.

The average price of homes sold in January 2014 increased 13.3 percent across the country, a wide increase over the same year over year results from December 2013. The West region had the best results with the average price of homes sold increasing 18.7 percent followed by the Northeast region at 14.1 percent, the Midwest region at 9.9 percent and the South saw average prices rise 9.4 percent.

“January 2014 sales of new and existing homes reflected the decline in the affordability rate in most regions, the widespread inclement weather and the rise in interest rates. The slowdown in year over year unit sales also reflects the absence of real growth in employment and household incomes,” said Steve Murray, editor of the REAL Trends Housing Market Report. “As we stated last month we believe that unit sales are nearing a normal level given employment, the number of households, mortgage rates and household income. We expect that year over year increases will continue to be only slightly improved on a year over year basis in the months ahead.”
